Expression of Interest for Support for Technical Project Review Services to the Adaptation Fund Board Secretariat. Description: The Adaptation Fund (AF or Fund) is seeking to contract 1-3 qualified firms to provide technical project review services for proposals received by the Fund. The objective of this assignment is to engage a qualified firm to provide technical review support services to the Adaptation Fund Board secretariat for project and programme proposals submitted under the various funding windows of the Fund. The firm will provide timely, high-quality technical feedback to the project and programme proposals to ensure they are in line with the Funds policies, review criteria, and operational requirements. While the secretariat will retain responsibility for review coordination, quality assurance, final review positions, communication with implementing entities, preparation of PPRC/Board documentation, and any recommendations submitted to the Board; the firm should be able to navigate responses to any clarifications and queries as well as address in a timely fashion any issues raised in the deliverables. The contract will initially cover nine months, period starting October 2027 or until the end of Fiscal Year (i.e. end of June 2027), with the possibility of renewal for an additional three years based on performance of the pilot and organizational needs. The maximum total budget allocated for this contract is $499,000.
