As Part Of The Ongoing Maintenance Of The Vehicle Fleet, The Langenthal Fire Department Will Replace Its Existing Tank Fire Engine 2 From 2001 In 2027. The New Vehicle Will Be Used In A Variety Of Fire Department Operations In The City Of Langenthal, In The Community Of Bleienbach And In The Region, And Will Ensure Redundancy To The Existing Tank Fire Engine 1. The Aim Is To Procure The Latest Generation Of Tank Fire Engine, Which Replaces The Previous Vehicle In Terms Of Technology, Outreach, Payload, Driving And Operating Safety As Well As Its Material Equipment And Increases Operational Efficiency And Thus The Overall Operational Value. The Repurchase Of Tank Fire Engine 2, Built In 2001, Is Not Part Of The Tender.
