Work Detail
Engineering Design Services – Conversion And Expansion Of The A And C Wings Including A Single Gymnasium At The High School In Vilshofen Including New Construction Of A Single Gymnasium - Elt. The Passau District Intends To Carry Out A General Renovation Of The A And C Wings At The Vilshofen High School. In Addition, Due To The Increased Number Of Students, An Expansion Of The Existing Classrooms And The Construction Of An Additional Single Gym Are Necessary. The High School In Vilshofen Is An Additive School Complex That Essentially Consists Of Three Buildings, The A, B And C Wings. The A Wing, A Four-Sided Building With An Atrium In Which The Classrooms And Specialist Rooms Are Located, Was Built In 1968. In 1995, The Inner Courtyard Of Wing A Was Roofed And Window Elements Were Replaced In Part. The Covered Inner Courtyard, The Atrium, Is Used By The School As Well As The City Of Vilshofen And The Passau District For Events. The Atrium Roof Was Renovated In 2019 And The Lighting And Sound Technology In This Area Was Renewed In 2025. The Covered Inner Courtyard Area Remains Largely Untouched During The General Renovation. The C Wing With Specialist Classes, Classrooms And Lounges Including A Simple Gymnasium Was Built By 1980. Due To Water Ingress, The Roof Of The Gymnasium In The C Wing Was Renovated In 2025. There Are Currently Windowless Classrooms In The C Wing. All Classrooms And Course Rooms Must Be Able To Be Illuminated And Ventilated Through Replanning And Reorganization. All Rooms In The A And C Wings Of The High School Are Outdated In Terms Of Functionality, Safety And Energy Efficiency And Are In Need Of Renovation Due To Structural Defects. The Areas Mentioned Therefore Require General Renovation. In Addition, Structural Fire Protection, Sound Insulation, Acoustics And Accessibility Measures Are Essential. The Technical Systems Such As Heating, Ventilation, Plumbing And Electrical Systems Must Be Completely Replaced And The Cable Routing Revised. As Part Of The Preliminary Planning, It Is Necessary To Consider Integrating The Building Automation, Which Was Renewed In 2023. The B Wing Has Already Been Completely Renovated, Converted And Expanded. This Area Was Inaugurated In April 2008. Therefore, Only Adjustments To The Areas To Be Renovated Are Planned In This Area. As Part Of The Construction Project, The Following Measures Are To Be Implemented: - General Renovation Of Building Wings A And C With Specialist Rooms, Classrooms And Group Rooms - General Renovation Of The Gymnasium In Building C - New Construction Of Additional Classrooms Due To Increased Demand - New Construction Of An Additional Single Gymnasium - Renovation Of The Toilet Units - Renewal Of The Operating Technology (Hls And Electrical) - Creation Of Accessibility - Upgrading Of Fire Protection And Elimination Of Fire Protection Deficiencies - Energy-Related Renovation - Almost Passive House Standard - Installation Of A Pv System On The Roof The School Will Be Attended By 770 Students In The 2025/26 School Year. Of These, 299 Students In Grades 8 To 11 Choose The Natural Sciences And Technology
