The Armed Forces Have More Than 7,000 Cars And Transport Vehicles In Their Light Vehicle Fleet, For Which The Authority Needs Framework Agreements For Workshop Services And Spare Parts. The Vehicle Fleet Of Standard Vehicles Consists Of Passenger Cars, Vans And Light Trucks As Well As Trailers And Motorcycles. During Their Technical Lifetime, These Vehicles Must Be Maintained Through Maintenance, Repairs And Spare Parts, For Which The Swedish Armed Forces Needs A Framework Agreement. The Armed Forces Have Their Own Workshop Capacity Through The Authoritys Ground Workshops Which Consist Of Trained Workshop Staff And Technicians Who Can Handle A Wide Range Of Vehicle Types, Including The Vehicle Makes That Are Requested In The Procurement And More Military-Specific Material. Usually, A Civilian Supplier Is Engaged To Provide Workshop Services For The Agencys Standard Vehicles, But It Happens That The Armed Forces Ground Workshop Staff Carry Out Work Under Their Own Auspices. It Is Important For The Armed Forces That The Framework Agreement Suppliers Are Represented Near The Armed Forces Operational Locations.
