Work Detail
Network Equipment - Change Of Fiber - Channel (Fc) San Switches. The Subject Of The Contract Is The Procurement Of 4 Fc Switch - Director 64Gfc Including Sfp Modules For Two Data Centers, Including Installation And Provision Of Manufacturer Support (Maintenance) For 1 Year. The Ministry Of Labor And Social Affairs Operates Information Systems In Its Data Centers In Accordance With The Relevant Legislation. These Are A Number Of Applications And Software Which, By Their Very Nature And Following The Classification Of State Administration Information Systems, Form Elements Of The States Critical Infrastructure. Following Legal Measures And Protection Of Personal Data, These Systems Require Hw Resources Operated In The Mentioned Data Centers Of The Ministry Of Internal Affairs And Communications. With Regard To The Dynamic Development Of Applications And The Need For Quick Allocation Of Hw Resources, The Contracting Authority Decided To Adapt The Way Of Securing These Hw Resources, Especially With Regard To The Effectiveness Of The Resources Spent In The Immediate And Long-Term Horizon, I.E. To Secure Only Those Hw Resources That Are Needed At A Given Moment As Opposed To Securing Resources With Regard To Future Growth, Which Cannot Be Predicted Sufficiently In Advance. The Purchased Equipment Will Ensure Their Efficient Connection. Within The Framework Of This Technical Specification, A Generational Change Of Fiber-Channel (Fc) San Switches To Cisco Mds Technology Is Requested. The Aim Of The Change Is Mainly To Reduce Operational Risk And Costs With The Use Of: * Simplification Of Topology, Consolidation And Reduction Of The Number And Types Of Switches, * Limiting The Use Of Isl Lines To Inter-Site Connections Only, * Reducing Operational Risk By Replacing Morally Outdated Hw, * Reducing Security Risks Associated With Unsupported Software And Firmware Without The Possibility Of Upgrading, * Reducing Costs By Reducing The Total Number Of Ports In The San By Approx. 20% And Increasing The Use Of Purchased Ports (Currently Unused) Approx. 40% Of The Purchased Capacity Due To The Non-Consolidated State), * Optimization Of Operational Procedures By Deploying Modern Control And Analytical Software Together With The Latest Generation Hw Options Such As Advanced Telemetry And Its Processing In Asic Switches, Increased Performance By Switching To 64Gfc Technology (Fibre-Channel 64Gbps) With Investment Protection For At Least The Next 7 Years Of Operation, * Support For Modern Technologies (E.G. Nvme). The Target San Topology Consists Of Two Independent Fc Factories Spread Between Two Data Centers Using Cwdm Cisco Technology. In Each Data Center There Will Be Exactly One Fc Switch In Each Fabric. In Order To Verify That The Requirements For The Subject Of Performance Have Been Met, The Participant Shall Complete Annex B1 - Technical Specification Of The Subject Of Performance, Which In The Case Of The Selected Supplier Will Be An Annex To The Contract. This Public Contract Is Not Divided Into Parts In The Sense Of § 35 Zzvz, Or § 101 Zzvz. The Contracting Authority Proceeded To This Step Of Assigning The Above-Mentioned Subject Of The Performance Of The Public Contract Due To The Need To Ensure Uniform Responsibility Within The Provision Of Complex Services.
