Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – External Project Management For New Gornerli Freight Wagons. Matterhorn Gotthard Verkehrs Ag (Mgbahn) Intends To Purchase 10 Container Wagons. In An Initial Phase Of Use, The Vehicles Will Be Used For Construction Site Logistics In Connection With The Planned Construction Of The Gornerli Dam Above Zermatt. The Wagons Must Meet The Operational And Technical Requirements Of The Visp-Findelbach Route And Can Be Used Without Restrictions On This Route. Once The Construction Site Transport Has Been Completed, It Is Planned To Transfer The Container Wagons To The Existing Mgbahn Freight Wagon Fleet. The Aim Is To Gradually Renew The Existing Wagon Fleet With The New Vehicles And To Take Outdated Freight Wagons Out Of Service. Due To A Lack Of Internal Resources, Mgbahn Intends To Appoint An External Project Manager Who Will Coordinate The Procurement Of The Vehicles As A Whole And Provide Technical Support.
