Research And Development Consultancy Services – National Contact Point For Key Technologies (Nks). In Order To Implement The European Unions Research Framework Programs (Frp), The Participating States Have Committed To Setting Up An Information And Advisory System. The Basis For The Establishment And Activities Of The So-Called National Contact Points (Ncps) Are The “Guidelines Of The European Commission For The Establishment Of National Contact Points” (For Horizon Europe). These Guidelines Are Supplemented By A Joint Specifications Of The Eu Office And The National Contact Points (Valid Version From October 1, 2024 As An Appendix To The Service Description). The Federal Government Maintains A Network Of National Contact Points (Nks). On The One Hand, This Informs And Advises The Participants In The Fp And, On The Other Hand, Supports The Federal Government In The Design And Implementation Of The Fp. The Aim Of The Nks Is To Ensure A High, Efficient And Effective Participation Of German Research Institutions, Universities And Companies (Especially Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises - Smes) In The European Unions Funding Measures, In Particular The Framework Program For Research And Innovation. The Content Of The Tasks Until December 31, 2027 Relates To The Funding Topics Previously Established Under The 9Th Fp On The Digital And Industrial Key Technologies That Are Dealt With In The Two Program Committee Configurations Of The “Digital, Industry And Space” Cluster, “Civil Security For Society” For Cybersecurity, And The Mobility Area In The “Climate, Energy And Mobility” Cluster. From January 1, 2028, The Tasks Will Relate To The Funding Topics Of The 10Th Fp On Key Technologies, Which Are Currently Located In Policy Windows 1 (Clean Transition And Industrial Decarbonization) And 3 (Digital Leadership) Of The European Competitiveness Fund. In The Interests Of Continuity And The Continued Synergistic Bundling Of Key Technologies, Material Innovations Are Also Covered. The Tasks Also Include Supporting Other Program Parts Of The Fp, Such As The Innovation Program Part Of The “European Innovation Council (Eic)” Or The “European Institute For Technology And Knowledge And Innovation Centers (Eit-Kic)”, Provided That Relevant Technology-Oriented Activities Can Be Anchored Or Corresponding Funding Activities (E.G. Missions Or Other Partnerships) Extend Across Different Program Parts.
