The Aim Of The Establishment Of The Future Center Is To Create A Nationally And Internationally Networked Public Platform That, Based On The Three Pillars Of Research, Culture And Dialogue, Works In An Interdisciplinary Manner On Transformation Processes, Questions Of Democracy And Cohesion In Germany And Europe. The Aim Is To Develop A High-Quality, Multifunctional Building With Open Spaces, Which Is Intended To Be A Model For Federal Buildings In A Forward-Looking, Energy-Optimized And Climate-Friendly Way. The Building Is To Be Planned According To The Low-Tech Principle, In Which Robust, Low-Maintenance And Simple Structural Solutions Are Preferred To Complex, Technical Approaches. In Accordance With The Federal Energy Efficiency Regulations (Eefb), The Building Is To Be Planned As An Energy Efficiency Building 40 (Egb 40). The Success Of The Work And The Objective Of The Coordination Task Is The Certification Of The Building And The Outdoor Facilities According To The Sustainable Building For Federal Buildings (Bnb) Assessment System. The Building Is Based On The Profiles For Teaching Buildings, New Buildings In The 2017 Version (Bnb-Un-Neubau V2017). The Profiles Of The 2016 Version (Bnb-Aa V2016) Serve As A Basis For The Outdoor Facilities. The Goal Is For The Building To Achieve The Gold Seal Of Quality. The Outdoor Facilities Should At Least Achieve The Silver Quality Seal.
