The City Of Bayreuth Intends To Renovate Secondary Clarification Tanks 1 And 2 In The Bayreuth Sewage Treatment Plant. Three Secondary Clarifiers Are Currently In Operation. The Secondary Clarification Tank (Nkb) 3 Is From 1998 And Was Already Equipped With An Adaptive Central Structure In 2024. The Nkb 1 And 2 Were Built In 1975 And Have Been In Operation Since Then. These Nkb Are Now To Be Renovated And Also Equipped With An Adaptive Central Structure. A Concept Study From October 2025 Is Available For The Measure. Variant 1B: Renovation Of Secondary Clarifiers 1 And 2 (Renewal Of Scraper) Should Be Implemented. The Cost Estimate From October 2025 Puts Total Investment Costs (Including Additional Construction Costs) At Eur 6.84 Million Gross Or Construction Costs At Approximately Eur 4.8 Million Net / Eur 5.70 Million Gross. With This Procedure, The Planning Services Of The Engineering Structures Service Are Awarded In Conjunction With The Technical Equipment Service (Process And Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering) According To Hoai. The Nkb Are To Be Renovated One After The Other; The Total Construction Time Is Estimated At Around 3 Years. The Earliest Start Of The Construction Project Is Expected To Be In Summer/Autumn 2027.
