The District Of Invermere Invites Qualified Hydrogeological Consultants To Assess The Function And Capacity Of The District Of Invermere’S (Doi) Rapid Infiltration Basins (Rib) At The Wastewater Treatment Plant (Wwtp). The Consultant Must Demonstrate Proven Experience And A Strong Knowledge Of Projects Related To The Rapid Infiltration (Rib) Assessment. The Purpose Of This Project Is To Procure Professional Engineering Services To Assess The Current Capacity Of The Ribs And Develop Recommended Solutions To Restore And Increase Long-Term Infiltration Capacity. The Selected Consultant Will Evaluate Groundwater Conditions By Determining The Depth To The Water Table And The Extent Of Mounding Directly Beneath And Around The Ribs. This Work Will Build Upon The Existing Two-Year Baseline Of Continuous Water Level Data Collected Using Hobo Loggers In Nearby Monitoring Wells. However, Because None Of Those Wells Are Located Within The Ribs, The Study Should Include Installation Of Additional Monitoring Points As Needed To Obtain Accurate, Site-Specific Data.
