Architectural And Related Services – 2026-05-Rv-Sb-Generalsanierung-Thg-Sulzbach. The Saarbrücken Regional Association Is Planning The General Renovation Including Reorganization And Extensions At The Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium In Sulzbach, Which Was Unanimously Decided By The Regional Assembly On July 3, 2025. The Planned Construction Project Is Planned On The Property Of The Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium In Sulzbach. The Schools Origins Date Back To 1877. The Former Higher Private School Was Taken Over By The Sulzbach Community As A Public School In 1906. This Year Is Considered The Schools Founding Date. Todays Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium Was Built Around 1966-1970 In Sections Using A Reinforced Concrete Frame Construction With Reinforced Concrete Ceilings. The Entire Complex Is A Two- To Four-Story Building With A Flat Roof And Is Classified As A Special Building In Building Class 5. The Existing Building Consists Of Several Interconnected, Multi-Story Building Parts (A - F/G) On Different Levels In The Slope Area. There Is A Rented Apartment In The School In The Former Caretakers Apartment In Section C. Parts Of Building A And D Partly Have A Basement. The Gross Floor Area Of ​​The Portfolio Is Approximately 7,548 M². In A Feasibility Study, The Building Authority Examined The Expansion In Connection With A General Renovation Of The Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium. The Present Plan Represents An Economical And Sustainable Solution And Also Generates The Possibility Of Temporarily Relocating The Students During The Construction Period. The Construction Project Must Be Implemented While School Is In Operation, During School Holidays And In Individual Phases To Be Determined. This May Mean That Interim Measures May Be Necessary In The Building Itself Or In Adjacent Parts Of The Building Or In Temporary Containers That Are Needed As Compensation Areas. The Possibility Of Subdividing Into Construction Phases Must Be Taken Into Account. The Construction Process Plans To Complete The Extension And The Scientific Rooms In A First Construction Phase. The Rooms On The Floors Below Can Then Be Used To Partially Relocate The Students And The Areas That Become Vacant Can Be Renovated. The Associated Work Must Be Taken Into Account And Is Part Of The Overall Construction Project. In Order To Keep The Period Of Disruption And Construction Time As Short As Possible, A Proposal Must Be Submitted For The Implementation Of The Measure. Despite Specifying A Possible Building Site, The Design Options Should Not Be Restricted, With Scope For Change And At The Same Time Considerate Integration Of The New Building Into The Existing Environment. New Research Approaches With Efficient Design Planning Are Welcomed. The Attached Spatial Program Defines The Rooms Required For The Entire Ensemble In The Future, As Far As Possible For The Extension As Well As For The Restructuring Measures In The Existing Building
