Work Detail
lighting Design And Lighting System For The Hoverway At Skattøra . Descriptionbackground Troms County Municipality, In Collaboration With The Sami Parliament And Skjervøy Municipality, Will Revitalize The Cultural Environment At Skattøra As Part Of The Initiative Revitalisation Of Fotefar Mot Nord. The Area Is Protected Through A Zoning Plan And Contains Several Automatically Protected Cultural Monuments From Various Periods, Including The Stone Age, Sami Settlement And The Second World War. Many Of The Cultural Traces Are Hardly Visible In The Terrain And Can Be Difficult For Visitors To Perceive And Understand. As Part Of Accessibility And Communication, A Universally Designed Hovering Path With A Rest Area Will Be Established Through The Area. The Cableway Should Provide Safe Traffic And Better Accessibility For A Wide Audience, While At The Same Time It Should Be An Architecturally And Landscape-Appropriate Element. Light Is Planned As A Central Tool Both To Support Traffic And To Strengthen The Dissemination Of The Sites Cultural History In Conjunction With Other Dissemination Measures. The Procurement Is Carried Out Because The Client Needs A Comprehensive Lighting Solution That Takes Care Of Several Considerations At The Same Time: Universal Design, Safe Use, Gentle Adaptation To A Protected Cultural Environment And A Discreet, Aesthetic Design That Interprets The Cultural Monuments Without Unnecessary Intervention Or Visual Disturbance. The Solution Must Also Be Robust And Reliable In A Harsh Coastal Environment With Wind, Salt, Snow And Ice, And Be Designed For Simple Operation And Maintenance Over Time. Description Of The Assignment The Procurement Concerns A Total Delivery Of Lighting Design And Lighting System For The Universally Designed Hovering Path With Rest Area At Skattøra. The Delivery Includes Design Of The Lighting Concept, Engineering, Delivery Of Equipment And Materials, Assembly, Commissioning, Documentation And First Years Maintenance. The Solution Must Cover Two Main Purposes. Firstly, It Must Provide Subdued And Safe Lighting That Guides Visitors Along The Path And Supports Universal Accessibility. Secondly, The Lighting Design Must Function As A Mediating Element That Makes Visible And Interprets The Cultural Environments Time Depth And Historical Layers, Without All Individual Memories Necessarily Being Illuminated Directly. There Is Demand For A Comprehensive, Discreet And Aesthetically Well-Designed Solution Where Technical Installations Are Mainly Mounted On Or Integrated Into The Hoverway. The Delivery Must Be Adapted To The Special Framework Resulting From Protection, Consideration Of Cultural Monuments And The Need For Minimal Terrain Interventions. The Facility Must Also Be Robust, Reliable And Suitable For Local Operation, Troubleshooting And Maintenance, And Should Facilitate Appropriate Management And Follow-Up Of The Facility After Handover.
