Technical Specification For Sand Sand For Sandbox Must Be Clean, Dry, Without Impurities (Clay, Stones, Shells) And Comply With Safety Standards (Gost 8736-93, Sanpin 2.4.1.3049–13). Optimal Characteristics: Particle Size (Fraction) 1–2 Mm, Light Yellow Or White Color, Passed Sanitary And Epidemiological Examination. River Or Washed Quartz Sand Is Recommended. Hygiene (Safety): Sand Must Be Sieved, Washed, Does Not Contain Harmful Bacteria Or Dangerous Impurities (Sulfur, Coal) And Not Be Radioactive. Humidity: Dry The Sand Should Be Free-Flowing, And When Wet It Should Be Good To Hold Shape (Molded) When Purchasing Sand For Playgrounds (Especially In Preschool Educational Institutions) The Seller Is Obliged To Provide A Certificate Quality Or Passport Confirming Compliance With Sanpin And Safety For Children.
