Tenders are invited for Trainer on Marketing for Cooperatives Project Background Lebanon has been facing a severe socio-economic, food security, and environmental crisis since 2019. The agricultural sector represents approximately 5% of GDP and employs around 12% of the active population, with significantly higher local economic importance in regions such as Bekaa and Akkar. The ARADINA project, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), aims to support the agroecological transition in Lebanon to promote: Sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural production Efficient natural resource management Inclusive economic development Improved access to national and international markets The project operates in targeted regions including Bekaa, Baalbak/Hermel, Akkar, North, and Mount Lebanon. The project is implemented by a consortium composed of: CIHEAM IAMM (Lead Partner), Fair Trade Lebanon and Action Against Hunger. Objective Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is seeking to engage qualified trainer(s) to facilitate training sessions on marketing for selected cooperatives under the ARADINA project. The assignment aims to strengthen the capacity of participating cooperatives to improve their marketing knowledge and skills, enhance their market positioning, and increase their ability to access and compete in local and international markets. The training will aim to: Increase awareness and understanding of marketing concepts and their application within cooperatives. Strengthen knowledge of market analysis, customer segmentation, branding, and product positioning. Enhance the capacity of cooperatives to develop effective marketing and communication strategies.
