Tenders Are Invited For Arc-25-0033 Zeeschelde L.O. In Zwijndrecht Construction Of A New Transshipment Quay At The Company Hector Van Moer & Zonen (Pps)

The Assignment Includes The Construction Of A Transshipment Quay (Useful Mooring Length 60 M / Width From The Bank Approx. 54 M Var.) By Means Of Realization Of A Quay Plateau (Approx. 2841 M²), Above The Scheldt Bank / Old Slipway, Founded On Prefabricated Prestressed Concrete Foundation Piles, And Provided With The Necessary Mooring Infrastructure In The Form Of A Row Of Tubular Piles Under The Quay Plateau In The Surface Of The Mooring Zone. In Order To Achieve Sufficient Total Mooring Length For Inland Vessels Up To Approx. 135 M, 2 Additional Mooring Posts (4 In Total) Are Provided Laterally On The Up And Down Sides Of The Quay Plateau. In The Transition From The Bank To The Land Side (Over A Zone Of Approx. 30 M), An (Unanchored) Combination Wall And Kerb With Raft Plate Will Have To Be Connected To The Existing Site Paving Of The Company Involved H. Van Moer & Zonen. The Zone Of The Combination Wall And Various Piles From The Pile Foundation Will Conflict With The Existing Underlying Infrastructures Of The Old Slipways Consisting Of A Reinforced Concrete Beam Structure Based On Short Concrete Foundation Piles. The Assignment Documents Provide For The Local Breaching Of These Infrastructures In Order To Realize The Combination Wall/Concrete Pile Foundations/Mooring Posts. However, It Will Be Important For The Contractor To Coordinate The Phasing Of The Works Thoroughly And Thoughtfully, And To Adjust His/Her Implementation Plans Accordingly After Thorough Own Measurements.
