Bids Are Invited For Rfp-07-26 Blenkin Memorial Park Playground Design-Build

The Strathcona Regional District (Regional District) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Firms To Design, Supply And Install New Playground Equipment And Playground Surfacing At Blenkin Memorial Park, Located At 970 West Road On Quadra Island, In Electoral Area C Of The Regional District.The Existing Playground Equipment Was Built In The 1990S And Is Well Used And Loved By The Community. However, The Equipment Has Reached The End Of Its Expected Service Life And Does Not Meet Current Canadian Playground Safety Standards.The Regional District Requires All Work To Be Designed And Built To Conform To The Latest Applicable Playground Safety Standards (Csa Z614:20), Codes And Regulations.Refer To Part D (Specifications And Scope Of Work) For Additional Details.Proponents Shall Base Their Proposal On Furnishing Everything Including All Labour, Engineering, Materials, Tools, Equipment And Supplies As Well As Incidentals Required To Complete The Project In Full Compliance With The Provisions And Requirements Of This Rfp Document. Any Deviation From The Requirements Set Out In This Document Must Be Fully Disclosed In The Proposal.
