To Improve Corridor-Wide Safety And Operational Efficiency, The Project Will Feature One Mainline Travel Lane In Each Direction, A Continuous Central Turning Lane, And Select Right-Turn Deceleration Lanes Designed To Effectively Separate Turning Movements From Through Traffic At High-Volume Side Streets. A Key Component Of This Corridor Modernization Is The Installation Of A Shared-Use Path, Which Will Provide Vital Multimodal Connectivity For Cyclists And Pedestrians Between The Furys Ferry Road (Sr 28) Corridor And Evans Town Center. The Project Scope Also Encompasses All Associated Infrastructure And Safety Upgrades At The Csx Railroad Crossing.
