Work Detail
Transthoracic Echocardiography Consists Of A Non-Invasive And Highly Accurate Procedure In Which The Structures And Functioning Of The Heart Are Assessed Using Ultrasound. The Transducer (Probe) Is Placed On The Patients Chest And Is Capable Of Detecting Heart Murmurs, Identifying Causes Of Palpitation, Syncope, Shortness Of Breath, Chest Pain Or Heart Muscle Diseases (Myocardial Infarction, Cardiomyopathy), Heart Failure, Valvular Diseases, Congenital Anomalies, Among Others. Echocardiography Presents Static And Moving Images Of The Muscle And Heart Valves And, Through Color Flow Mapping Using The Doppler Technique, Identifies The Direction And Speed Of Blood Flow Within The Heart Cavities. Doppler Can Be Pulsed, Continuous And Colored. It Is The Most Common Of All Echocardiogram Modalities. Pulsed Doppler Analyzes Blood Flow Velocity At A Specific Point In The Heart, With A Limited Velocity Spectrum. Continuous Doppler Analyzes The Sum Of The Speeds Of All Flows In A Certain Band Of The Heart Where The Cursor Is Positioned, And Allows The Flow To Be Recorded At High Speeds. Color Doppler Or Color Flow Mapping Analyzes Blood Flow In Two Dimensions And The Colors Determine Its Direction Within The Heart Cavities. It Allows Obtaining Morphological And Functional Information About The Chambers (Atria And Ventricles), Valves And Heart Walls, Carried Out With The Patient At Rest, Lying On The Left Side In Conditions That Do Not Impose Any Effort On The Heart, Evaluating Cardiac Morphology And Function And, In Addition, Blood Flow And The Movement Of Cardiac Tissues. During The Exam, The Transducer Is Moved Over The Chest Wall, And Some Pressure May Be Necessary; The Patient May Also Be Asked To Change Position Or Perform Specific Respiratory Movements, Which Does Not Involve Radiation. Computed Tomography Of The Upper Abdomen Consists Of An Imaging Method Of Diagnosis That, Through Axial Sections, Provides A Detailed Study Of Different Structures Of The Abdomen, Facilitates Localization, Detects Very Small Changes In Tissues, Organs Including The Liver, Spleen, Pancreas And Kidneys And Provides Greater Accuracy In Clinical And Surgical Interventions. Computed Tomography Of Lower Limb Joints Consists Of An Imaging Diagnostic Method That, Through Axial Sections, Provides A Detailed Study Of Different Structures Of The Human Body, Detects Very Small Changes In Bones, Tissues, Organs And Other Structures Of The Body And Provides Greater Precision In Clinical And Surgical Interventions. Corresponds To The Sacro-Iliac, Coxo-Femoral, Knee, Ankle And Foot Joints. Computed Tomography Of Upper Limb Joints Consists Of An Imaging Diagnostic Method That, Through Axial Sections, Provides A Detailed Study Of Different Structures Of The Human Body, Organs And Other Body Structures And Provides Greater Precision In Clinical And Surgical Interventions. It Corresponds To The Sterno-Clavicular, Shoulder, Elbow And Wrist Joints. Computed Tomography Of The Cervical Spine With/Or Without Contrast Consists Of An Imaging Diagnostic Method That, Through Axial Sections, Provides A Detailed Study Of Different Structures Of The Human Body, Organs And Other Structures Of The Body And Provides Greater Precision In Clinical Interventions And Surgical.,
