In Recent Years The Number Of Trains On The Bremen Harbor Railway Has Increased. Further Growth Has Been Forecast For The Coming Years And There Is Therefore A Need For Sidings. This Makes It Necessary To Expand The Capacity At The Speckenbüttel Station. In Addition To The Existing Groups 30 And 40, Each With Eight Tracks, The New Group 20 With Seven Tracks (221 - 227) Must Be Implemented. The Connection Of The 20 Group To The Existing Tracks Is To Take Place On The East Side Via A New Switch 40 In Track 116 And On The West Side Via A New Switch 109 In Track 273. All New Tracks In The 20 Group Will Have A Usable Length Of Approx. 750 M And Will Be Electrified Along Their Entire Length.
