The Maurice Ravelweg And Straussvelden (Slow Traffic Routes) Are Located In Nieuw Waldeck. The Slow Traffic Route (Strauss Paths) Are Important For The Climate Resilience Of The Neighborhood, Form An Important Meeting Place And Form The Connection Between The Various Facilities (Community Centers And Schools) And The Neighborhoods. This Network Of Slow Traffic Routes Has Been Renewed. Footpaths Are Being Constructed And There Will Be A Footpath Along The Strausspad (Cycling Route) With A Clear Separation. The Public Space In Neighborhoods With A Residential Area Structure Is In Very Poor Condition. This Means A Commitment To Redevelopment To Improve The Functioning Of Public Space, Structuring Parking, Tackling Root Encroachment And Renewing Written-Off Materials. For Safety Reasons, The Maurice Ravelweg (Entrance To The Neighborhood) Will Be Given A Different Layout (Narrower With Speed Bumps And Longitudinal Parking) And The Asphalt Will Be Replaced By Bricks. Trees Will Also Be Placed So That The Street Fits In Better With The Park (Green Zone). The Work Essentially Consists Of: Adjusting Walking And Cycling Paths; Adjusting The Roadway And Creating Parking Spaces; Redesign Of Playground.
