Tenders Are Invited For Construction Technical Modification Work Related To Barrier-Free Housing, As Well As Various Installation, Repair And Maintenance Works, Including Equipment And Materials

The Procurement Concerns Apartment Renovations Granted Through The Disability Services And Elderly Services Of The Itä-Uusimaa Welfare Area. Apartment Renovations Are Part Of The Barrier-Free Living Support According To § 22 Of The Disability Services Act, As Well As Other Social Services According To § 14, Subsection 2 Of The Social Services Act (1301/2014) And § 11 Social Services Corresponding To The Determined Need For Housing Support, The Goal Of Which Is To Enable A Disabled Or Elderly Person To Live Independently And Safely In Their Own Permanent Home. Support For Barrier-Free Living Includes Home Renovations, Removal Of Barriers, And The Necessary Equipment And Technical Solutions If They Are Necessary Due To Functional Limitations Caused By Disability Or Illness. The Services In Accordance With The Social Care Act Also Take Into Account Small-Scale Needs For Home Remodeling Work Due To Aging. Remodeling Works Can Concern The Interior Of The Apartment Or The Immediate Surroundings, And Their Purpose Is To Enable Survival Of Daily Activities, Smooth Movement And Safety Of Living. The Scope Of The Support Also Includes The Planning Of Modification Works. The Welfare Area Owns The Equipment And Supplies Granted To Customers And Maintains A Warehouse Of Unused Equipment And Equipment As Well As Leftover Construction Material (E.G. Elevators, Ramps, Door Opening Devices, Special Lighting, Support Handles, Etc.). The Procurement Establishes Seven Framework Arrangements To Which All Bidders Who Have Submitted An Approved Offer Are Selected By Sub-Area. With This Request For Quotation, The Customer Does Not Yet Choose The Implementer Of The Individual Change Object. The Selection Takes Place In Accordance With Section 5. Selection Of The Contractor / Service Provider In The Service Description Of The Appendix. The Procurement Is Divided Into Parts As Follows: 1. Extensive Construction Technical Modification Works 2. Small Construction Technical Modification Works 3. Installations, Maintenance And Repairs Of Elevators 4. Installations, Maintenance And Repairs Of Door Opening Devices And Safety Locks 5. Electricians Work In Places Of Accessible Living 6. Hearing Aids And Their Installation 7. Visual Aids And Their Installation The Contract Period Is Planned To Start On 1 October 2026. The Length Of The Basic Contract Period Is Two (2) Years, After Which The Customer Can Extend The Contract With Two One-Year Options (1+1 Year). The Order Flow For Modification Works Is Not Uniform, But The Order Can Concern The Implementation Of Modification Work In Different Municipalities, At Different Times. The Customer Does Not Commit To A Minimum Purchase Amount, But The Apartment Modification Work Is Procured According To The Customers Needs. The Service Provider / Contractor Does Not Have An Exclusive Right To Provide The Service. The Customer Can Also Acquire Services Outside Of The Currently Tendered Framework Contracts, If The Customers Need For Service Requires It Or If No Framework Contract Supplier Accepts The Modification Work Order Within The Planned Schedule. The Different Areas Of The Procurement And The Operational Model Of The Framework Arrangements Are Described In More Detail In The Service Description Appendix. The Estimated Value Of The Acquisition Is 860,000 Euros, Vat 0%.
