The Aim Of The Award Procedure In Question Is The Long-Term Rental Of A (Possibly New) Laundry Building For The Needs Of The Vienna Health Association (Abbreviated To “Wigev”, “Client” Or “Ag”). For This Purpose, A Rental Agreement For A (Possibly Newly Built) Laundry Building Should Be Concluded Between The Client And The Successful Bidder In The Procurement Process. The Vienna Health Association Operates The Laundry And Cleaning Service Unit (Short: “Swr”) To Supply Its Clinics And Care Facilities. The Existing Swr (Formerly “Central Laundry Of The City Of Vienna”) Was Built In The 1960S And Forms An Essential Part Of The Wigev Supply Infrastructure. Due To The Age Of The Systems, The Structural Conditions And The Fact That The Energy Supply Will Expire In The Medium To Long Term, There Is A Need For Action To Ensure The Future Supply Of Laundry. Against This Background, The Vienna Health Association Is Pursuing The Goal Of Quickly Implementing And Permanently Operating A New, Green (I.E. “Gas-Free”) And Modern Hospital Laundry. For This Purpose, The Aim Is To Rent A Laundry Building. The Aim Of The Procurement Process Is Therefore First To Determine A Solution That Is Suitable For The Purposes Of The Wigev (In Terms Of The Property, The Building And The Commercial And Legal Framework Conditions) And Then To Conclude A Rental Agreement For The Laundry Building (To Be Built Or Future).
