The Selective Collection Of Flat Glass Fits Within The Sustainable Waste And Materials Policy And Contributes To Maximum Recycling Of Construction And Demolition Waste. Through Separate Collection, This Fraction Can Be Processed In An Environmentally Responsible Manner And, Where Possible, Recycled Into New Raw Materials. The Current Arrangement For The Processing Of This Waste Stream Expires On December 31, 2026. To Ensure Continuity Of Services And To Comply With Applicable Environmental Legislation, A New Government Contract Will Be Launched With Effect From January 1, 2027. The Contract Aims At An Efficient And Cost-Transparent Organization Of Collection And Processing, With Clear Agreements Regarding Container Management, Disposal Frequency, Traceability And Processing In Licensed Installations.
