Request for proposals for Recruit a Communication and Visibility Support Company to Support the Implementation of the Project Communication and Visibility Plan and Related Visibility Activities Closing Date: Thursday, 25. Background International Alert Lebanon, in partnership with UN Women, is implementing the Women Peacebuilders in Action project under the Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action (WPS-HA) framework. The project aims to strengthen the leadership, participation, and operational capacities of women peacebuilders in humanitarian action, conflict prevention, and community-level peacebuilding processes across Lebanon. The intervention supports women peacebuilders through capacity strengthening, coaching and technical accompaniment, women-led community initiatives, regional peer-learning and exchange mechanisms, and evidence-based advocacy and communication efforts. Given the importance of ensuring ethical, accurate, and conflict-sensitive communication and visibility of project activities and achievements, International Alert seeks to recruit a communication and visibility support company to support the implementation of the project communication and visibility plan and related visibility activities. 2. Objective of the Assignment The objective of this assignment is to support the design, development, production, and implementation of communication and visibility outputs that strengthen the visibility of women peacebuilders, project activities, learning, and advocacy efforts under the project. 3. Scope of Work Under the supervision of the International Alert Lebanon team, the selected company will support the following tasks: Develop the project branding and visibility package. Produce social media content, including posts, visuals, reels, and short videos. Support the documentation of project activities, trainings, exchange sessions, and women-led initiatives. Develop storytelling content highlighting women peacebuilders and community initiatives. Support the design of advocacy and learning products. Support the boosting and promotion of selected social media content and campaigns to increase visibility and engagement. International Alert will provide technical guidance, key messaging, and content inputs where needed, while the selected company will support content development, editing, design, and production. 4. Indicative Communication Outputs and Deliverables A. Short Videos / Reels Storytelling and visibility of women peacebuilders. Deliverables: Production of 2 videos/reels highlighting the role and contributions of women peacebuilders. Filming, editing, translation, subtitles, and branding of all videos. Arabic and English versions/subtitles of all video products. B. Impact Story Feature story on a women-led peacebuilding initiative. Deliverables: Design of 1 impact story. Story layout, editing, visual formatting, and branding. Integration of photos, quotes, and project visibility elements. C. Activity Posts Coverage of training sessions, exchange meetings, and community initiatives. Deliverables: Minimum of 1 activity-related post per month. Development of visuals and captions. Adaptation of content for relevant social media platforms. D. Photo Stories / Video Reels Visual documentation of activities and women-led initiatives, including hub meetings. Deliverables: Production of 4 reels/photo stories. Photography and/or short video coverage of activities. Editing, translation, subtitles, and branding of all video products. Arabic and English versions/subtitles where video content is produced. E. Policy Digests / Advocacy Papers Messaging linked to Women, Peace and Security and Humanitarian Action. Deliverables: Design and layout of 2 policy digests, advocacy papers, or advocacy products. Formatting, branding, and visual layout support. Preparation of final products for online dissemination and/or printing. F. Learning Product Lessons learned and field-based experiences from women peacebuilders. Deliverables: Development, design, and layout of 1 learning product. Formatting and visual integration of quotes, photos, and key findings. Final version prepared for online dissemination and/or printing. G. Campaign Posts / Videos Communication campaigns linked to International Womens Day, International Day of Peace, and Women, Peace and Security Day. Deliverables: Development of 2 campaigns, including videos Campaign visuals, messaging, editing, translation, subtitles, and branding. Arabic and English versions/subtitles of all campaign video products. Adaptation of content for social media dissemination. H. Branding and Visibility Package Development of project branding and visibility materials, including presentation templates, banners, notebook designs, and social media templates. Deliverables: Presentation templates. Banner designs. Notebook designs. Social media templates. Additional project branding materials as needed. I.Social Media Boosting Budget Allocation of a dedicated budget for boosting selected communication products, campaigns, and advocacy content across social media platforms. Deliverables: Development of a boosting plan for selected communication products and campaigns. Sponsored promotion and boosting of selected social media content. Periodic analytics and engagement reporting. 5. Duration of the Assignment The assignment is expected to run from July 2026 until October 2027. 6. Reporting Line The selected company will report directly to the International Alert Lebanon project team and coordinate closely with programme, MEL, and communication focal points. 7. Required Qualifications The company should demonstrate: Proven experience in communication, visibility, digital storytelling, and content production. Experience producing communication materials for humanitarian, peacebuilding, gender, or development projects. Strong understanding of conflict-sensitive and gender-sensitive communication approaches. Experience in photography, videography, graphic design, branding, and social media content production. Experience managing boosting strategies is considered an asset. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. Previous experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or international organisations is considered an asset. 8. Ethical Considerations All communication and visibility materials developed under this assignment must adhere to International Alerts safeguarding, protection, informed consent, conflict sensitivity, and do-no-harm principles. The selected company must a lways ensure confidentiality and respectful representation of participants and communities. All raw materials, photos, videos, designs, and final products developed under this assignment will remain the property of International Alert and UN Women.
