Tenders are invited for EnVision Spacecraft System Support for TM/TC Data Base Preparation EnVision is a Venus orbiter mission selected by ESAs Science Programme Committee as the fifth Medium-class mission in the Agencys Cosmic Vision plan. It will be the first mission to investigate Venus from its inner core to its upper atmosphere, characterising the interaction between its atmosphere, surface/subsurface and interior. It aims at providing a holistic view of Venus, studying the planets history, activity, and climate. An overview of the EnVision mission and its objectives can be found on the Agency website here: https://www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Space_Science/EnVision_factsheet. Thales Alenia Space Italia (TAS-I) is issuing this ITT as EnVision Prime Contractor, and conducting the procurement under the principles of ESA Best Practices for the selection of subcontractors. TAS-I will release an Invitation To Tender for the procurement of the engineering support for the TM/TC Data Base. The EnVision TM/TC database (also referred to as Spacecraft Reference Database SRDB) will be a structured interface layer that enables communication between human operators and the EnVision spacecraft onboard software (SW) in a clear and manageable way, abstracting the complexity of raw binary data. It provides a comprehensive and organized repository of all Telemetry (TM) and Telecommand (TC) definitions used throughout the mission, in accordance with the ECSS PUS-C standard. This includes parameters, packet structures, formats, units, limits, and relationships, which together define how information is exchanged with the spacecraft. The EnVision TM/TC database structure will be based on the SCOS-2000 standard. The selected contractor will be responsible for the management, integration, and formal delivery of all the Envision TM/TC database related products, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards. All the task will be carried out in coordination with the TAS-I team in Turin, providing on-site personnel for all the period of interest.
