A Mineralized Strip Is An Artificially Constructed And Maintained Fire Barrier, Cleared Of All Combustible Materials Down To The Mineral Soil Layer In Order To Limit Forest Fires And Provide Access. A Mineralized Strip Is Created Along The Periphery Of The Forest To Prevent Fire Developing In Neighboring Areas From Entering.
