The Contracting Authority Invites You To Tender For The European Public Tender For The Supply Of Nineteen (19) Conventional Space Vehicles For The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (Eodd). The Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (Eodd) Is Deployed When Explosives Are Found In The Netherlands. This Vehicle Will Be Used For Clearing The So-Called “Conventional Explosives”. This Means Explosives For Which It Is Known In Advance What Needs To Be Cleared. Think Of Ammunition From The Second World War. This Makes The Use Of The Vehicle Very Diverse. From Its Base In Soesterberg, The Vehicle Must Be Able To Move Quickly Throughout The Netherlands. The Location Of These Explosives Can Be In The Middle Of A Field Or A Training Area Or In Other Places Where No (Un)Paved Roads Lead. This Means That The Vehicle Must Not Only Be Fast On (Public) Roads, But Also Be Able To Handle Terrain. The Vehicles Must Meet The Specific Requirements And Operational Requirements As Included In The Tender Documents. Reliability, Deployability And Safety Are Central, Given The Critical Nature Of The Eodds Work.
