Jun 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth, Peace & Security Remuneration range: 3000 to 4000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 1 month The Youth Leadership Programme 10 (YLP10) is a youth empowerment initiative, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), funded by the European Union, and implemented in partnership by Dawaer Foundation. The programme aims to strengthen youth participation in peacebuilding, social cohesion, and community engagement by equipping young women and men with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to become active changemakers in their communities. Through a structured journey engaging approximately 150 youth from across Lebanon, the programme provides capacity building, mentorship, networking opportunities, and practical support for young leaders to design and implement community-based initiatives that address local challenges, reduce tensions, and foster solidarity. Participants are also connected with local peacebuilding actors, including MSLD Committees, Insider Mediator Networks, municipalities, and civil society organizations to ensure that youth-led solutions contribute to sustainable peacebuilding and local development efforts. Objective of the Call Dawaer Foundation is seeking qualified and experienced trainers and facilitators to support the implementation of the programme through: Delivery of a 5-day capacity-building workshop for youth participants in selected regions across Lebanon. Delivery of a 2-day team-building workshop for approximately 35 selected youth participants. Training activities may be conducted either in-person or online, depending on the prevailing security situation. Training Themes The training programme will cover the following thematic areas: Leadership in Peacebuilding: introducing key peacebuilding concepts and exploring what constitutes a peacebuilding initiative. Digital Engagement for Social Cohesion Proposal Writing, Budgeting, and Fundraising Navigating Stakeholders and Local Systems Inclusive Community Engagement and Communication: Strengthening the Participation of Youth and Women Scope of Work 1. Trainers (Firms are advised to provide a list and CVs of qualified trainers available to deliver the training workshops simultaneously for the 7 groups of youth). Selected trainers will be responsible for: Designing and preparing training curricula, agendas, presentations, and supporting materials. Delivering interactive, participatory, and youth-friendly training sessions. Assessing and evaluating participants throughout the training using agreed selection criteria. Supporting the identification of participants who will advance to the next phase of the programme. Coordinating closely with Dawaer Foundation throughout the implementation process. Submitting a comprehensive training report, including recommendations and participant assessment results. 2. Facilitators (7 Facilitators, 1 in each region) Selected facilitators will be responsible for: Workshop Support Providing on-site or online support throughout the 5-day workshops and the 2-day team-building event. Assisting trainers in ensuring smooth implementation and effective time management. Group Dynamics and Engagement Facilitating group discussions, breakout sessions, and interactive exercises. Supporting participant engagement and inclusive participation. Logistical and Technical Support Managing online platforms and interactive tools where applicable. Supporting attendance tracking, feedback collection, and participant coordination. Assisting in documenting observations related to participant engagement and performance. Duration of Assignment Capacity-Building Workshops: 5 days Team-Building Workshop: 2 days Trainers can apply for one topic, multiple topics, or the full package. Facilitators are expected to support in all regions. Eligibility and Qualifications Trainers Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in designing and delivering participatory training programmes. Proven expertise in one or more of the proposed thematic areas. Strong experience working with youth, civil society organizations, and community initiatives. Demonstrated knowledge of Lebanons social, political, and community context. Excellent facilitation, communication, and reporting skills. Fluency in Arabic and strong command of English. Facilitators Minimum 23 years of experience supporting and facilitating workshops, trainings, or youth programmes. Experience in group facilitation, youth engagement, and participatory methodologies. Familiarity with online learning tools and workshop management is an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Fluency in Arabic and good command of English. Administrative Requirements Applicants must: Be officially registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Finance (MoF). Be able to issue official invoices. Provide a valid financial number and supporting registration documents. Evaluation Criteria Technical Proposal (70%) Relevant experience and qualifications. Quality and relevance of the proposed methodology. Experience in youth development, leadership, peacebuilding, and capacity building.
