It engages youth from Choueifat, Muhammara, Saida, and Qab Elias as catalysts of positive change who bridge divides, challenge stereotypes, and foster inclusive local development. As part of the project, football will be used as a tool to strengthen social cohesion, acceptance, team building, and non-violent conflict resolution. Forty young football coaches (10 per target area) will be capacitated to integrate these values into their coaching practices and to engage adolescents from diverse backgrounds through sports. Objective of the Call We are seeking qualified and experienced individual trainers/firm to design and deliver a five-day capacity-building programme for 40 young football coaches located in the four project areas. The selected trainers will equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools required to integrate peacebuilding, conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion, child protection, and gender-sensitive approaches into their existing coaching practices, using football as a vehicle for social cohesion and positive social change. Training Topics & Duration (3 days) Training 1: Peacebuilding, Social Cohesion, and Conflict Resolution - 1 Day This training aims to strengthen participants capacities to promote dialogue, tolerance, cooperation, and peaceful conflict resolution through sports activities. Participants will explore practical approaches to fostering social cohesion, addressing divisions, building trust among diverse groups, and creating inclusive environments that encourage teamwork, mutual respect, and positive interaction among adolescents from different backgrounds. Training 2: Child Protection - 1 Day This training aims to introduce key safeguarding principles and child protection standards relevant to working with adolescents. Participants will strengthen their understanding of ethical engagement with children and youth, identify potential protection risks, and enhance their ability to create safe, supportive, and protective environments within sports activities and community settings. Training 3: Combating Gender Stereotypes and Promoting Inclusive Participation - 1 Day This training aims to enhance participants understanding of gender equality and inclusive coaching practices. It will encourage coaches to challenge harmful gender stereotypes, promote equal opportunities for girls and boys, and foster meaningful participation in sports activities. Participants will also explore practical tools and approaches to creating gender-sensitive and inclusive sporting environments that contribute to positive social change. Scope of Work Develop and submit a detailed training agenda, methodology, and learning materials. Deliver five interactive and participatory training days for 40 young football coaches. Use experiential learning methodologies, practical exercises, and group work. Provide handouts and supporting materials in Arabic. Conduct pre- and post-tests to assess participants learning progress. Submit a concise final report summarizing the training process, evaluation results, and recommendations. Eligibility & Qualifications Proven expertise in one or more of the following areas: peacebuilding, conflict resolution, social cohesion, diversity and inclusion, child protection, gender equality, youth development, and/or sports for development. At least five years of experience designing and delivering participatory trainings for youth and/or civil society actors. Demonstrated understanding of Lebanons socio-political and community context. Experience using participatory and experiential learning methodologies to promote dialogue, teamwork, and positive social change. Experience working with youth programmes and community-based initiatives is considered an asset. Excellent command of Arabic (training delivery) and English (reporting). Registered with the Ministry of Finance (MoF). Companies/agencies must provide business registration documents and proof of MoF registration. Evaluation Criteria Technical Proposal (70%) Relevance and quality of the proposed methodology. Trainers expertise and CV. Experience in youth capacity building, peacebuilding, and civic engagement training. Clarity and suitability of the proposed agenda and learning tools. Financial Proposal (30%) Clear cost breakdown (daily rate, materials, transportation, and any other applicable costs).
