Expression of Interest for Ex Post Evaluation in Peru (Adaptation Fund). Publication Date: 06/11/2026 12:00 AM EDT EOI Deadline: 06/25/2026 11:59 PM EDT Description: Ex post evaluations have been a core part of AF-TERGs work since its first Strategy and Work Programme for fiscal years 20212023. They help the Adaptation Fund assess the longer-term impact of projects and programmes, recognizing that adaptation results may appear years after completion. These evaluations focus on whether outcomes have been sustained and how they contribute to adaptive capacity, resilience, and reduced climate vulnerability for people, livelihoods, and ecosystems. Under the Adaptation Fund Evaluation Policy, selected projects are evaluated three to five years after closure to examine the sustainability of their results and draw lessons from longer-term impact. The evaluations assess changes in outcomes over time, identify factors that support or hinder sustainability, and analyze how sustained results strengthen local resilience, while also considering differences in vulnerability and the distribution of benefits between women and men. The Fund applies a co-creative approach, working with diverse stakeholders in the design and implementation of evaluations to build evidence and ownership.
