The Municipalities Are Responsible For Organizing A Clinical Veterinary Guard. The Scheme With Veterinary Guards Has Been Established In Accordance With Act 15 June 2001 No. 75 On Veterinarians And Other Animal Health Personnel § 3 A. The Scheme With Veterinary Guards Must Ensure That A Clinical Guard Is Established Under Municipal/Inter-Municipal Authority For Veterinarians In All Parts Of The Country So That Necessary Veterinary Assistance Can Be Obtained Outside Of Normal Working Hours. The Veterinary Guard Is A Necessary Part Of The Protection Against Serious Infectious Animal Diseases And Is Important For Maintaining Good Animal Welfare. The Procurement Includes Two Sub-Contracts, One For Each Veterinary Ward District. • Sub-Contract 1 – Haram Veterinary Guard District • Sub-Contract 2 - Ørskog Veterinary Guard District The Tenderer Can Submit An Offer For One Or Both Sub-Contracts. If A Supplier Has Several Veterinarians Who Are Wanted In One Or Both Schemes, The Supplier Can Submit Several Offers, Each Offer With A Named Veterinarian.
