The Goal Of Restoring The Natural Water Regime Of The Vikipalu Forest Permanent Habitat Is To Mitigate And Compensate For The Negative Effects Of The Activities Planned By The National Special Plan (Kvkp) Of The Defense Forces Central Range In Such A Way That The Favorable Nature Conservation Status Of The Core Area Of The Kõrvemaa Forest Habitat Is Preserved. The Aim Of Restoring The Natural Water Regime Of The Maapaju Nature Reserve Is To Create Prerequisites For The Preservation And Restoration Of The Structure Of Bogs And Transitional Swamp And Swamp Forests And Their Characteristic Vegetation, Taking Into Account The Habitat Preferences Of Protected Species Where Possible.
