W8472-225864 Dive Tender Replacement Project Rfi . Canada, As Represented By The Department Of National Defence (Dnd), With The Assistance Of Public Services And Procurement Canada (Pspc), Has Issued This Rfi On The Dive Tender Replacement (Dtr) Project. This Rfi Is Seeking Industry Feedback Regarding Potential Solutions Which Meet The Dive Tender Replacement Project Operational Requirements As Listed In Annex A Provided Herewith. The Dtr Build Requirement Is Anticipated To Fall Under The Small Vessel Construction Component, Pillar 2, Of The National Shipbuilding Strategy (Nss). Restrictions-On-Bidding Provisions May Therefore, Apply To The Shipyards Selected By Canada Under Pillar 1 Of The Nss. The Royal Canadian Navy (Rcn) Currently Uses An Existing Fleet Of Granby And Sechelt-Class Vessels To Support Divers In Completing Underwater Tasks That Are Essential To Naval Operations And Public Safety. The New Vessels Aim To Replace The Existing Fleet Of Granby And Sechelt-Class Vessels, To Facilitate The Full Range Of Diving Operations And Will Resemble Traditional 24-Crew Diving Support Vessels.
