Bc Hydro Anitipcates Issuing A Request For Proposal (Rfp) In Early July 2026 For The Procurement Of Fish And Wildlife Habitat Restoration Services Across The Province Of British Columbia. Consistently Delivering Efficient, Effective And Reliable Services Is Critical To Supporting Our Mission Of Delivering Clean, Affordable Power While Protecting The Environment And Public Safety. The Scope Of The Anticipated Rfp Covers Fish And Wildlife Habitat Restoration Services Under Three Work Types - Decision Making And Facilitation, Production Analysis And Prioritization, And Design Services – Across The Province Of British Columbia. Propopents May Propose For Any One Or All Of The Work Types. Fish And Wildlife Habitat Restoration Services Enable Effective Planning, Prioritization, And Execution Of Habitat Restoration Activities That Are Critical To Mitigating Project Impacts, Ensuring Regulatory Compliance And Meeting Stakeholder Expectations. Bc Hydro Anticipates Entering Into Contracts With Approximately Six (6) To Ten (10) Suppliers. The Final Number Of Suppliers Awarded Contracts Under This Rfp Will Be Determined At Bc Hydro’S Discretion Depending On The Number And Quality Of The Proposals Received. The Contracts Are Expected To Have An Initial Term Of Five Years With Options To Extend By Up To Five Years, In Any Combination, For A Total Of Up To Ten Years.
