Database Services – Ocean Observation Platform - Maintenance, Operation And Further Development Of A Digital Platform For Hosting Ocean Observation Campaign Plans. Ocean Observation Is Currently Undertaken Independently For Different Purposes Including Fisheries Management, Safe Navigation, Coastal Protection, Environmental Impact Assessment And Research. In Order To Avoid Duplication, Identify Gaps And Reduce Administrative Burden, A Digital Platform Will Be Further Developed And Maintained And Building On Existing Observation Initiatives, Such As Eurogoos And European Research Infrastructures. The Digital Platform Will Collect Observation Campaign Plans Prepared By The Responsible Public Bodies Following Common Standards. This Platform Will Reinforce Emodnet And The European Digital Twin Ocean By Ensuring Structured Reliable Data Provision That Will Allow It To Fulfil Its Potential As A Tool Underpinning A Competitive And Sustainable Blue Economy.
