Islands Of The Region Of Attica For The Third Year 2027-2029 Provides For The Determination Of Actions In The Areas Of Territorial Responsibility Of The P.E. Islands Where Mosquito Breeding Sites Have Been Identified That Require Intervention, As Well As The Taking Of Measures Where Possible, In Cases Of Emergency Conditions, Through A System Of Integrated Mosquito Management, Within The Framework Of The Responsibilities And Capabilities Of The Region Of Attica. The Program Includes Monitoring Outbreaks On An Ongoing Basis, Evaluating And Intervening Appropriately Each Time And In Each Area Required. In Order To Protect Public Health, Efforts Are Being Made To Reduce The Mosquito Population In Order To Reduce The Risk Of Diseases Transmitted By Mosquitoes. In Addition, The Program Aims To Reduce The Nuisance Caused By Mosquitoes, Which Can Be A Factor In The Deterioration Of The Quality Of Life And The Local Economy
