The “Piedra Machucana” Nursery School Is Conceived As A Socialization Space That Promotes The Comprehensive Development Of The Child As A Unique Being In His Or Her Early Childhood, Guaranteeing Both Adequate Attention To His Or Her Basic Needs (Cognitive, Emotional, Social, Physical And Biological), As Well As The Learning That Corresponds To The Moment Of His Or Her Evolutionary Stage, Since The First Cycle Of Early Childhood Education Aims To Contribute To The Physical, Emotional, Social And Intellectual Development Of Boys And Girls, Promoting Education In Values. And In Equal Opportunities, A Process In Which The Participation Of Families Acquires Special Relevance. The 1St Cycle Early Childhood Education Center Has A Maximum Capacity Of Eight Units With 115 School Places For Students Between Three Months And Three Years Of Age. However, The Number Of Units And Services Provided By The Center May Vary Depending On The Places Established By The Junta De Castilla Y León Based On The Applications Received. For The 2026-2027 School Year And Following, The Structure Initially Planned For This School And Without Prejudice To What Is Established In The Previous Paragraph Is The Following, With The Ratios Indicated: - 2 Units Of Children Aged 0-1 Years (8 School Places Per Unit) - 3 Units Of Children Aged 1-2 Years (13 School Places Per Unit) - 3 Units Of Children Aged 2-3 Years (20 School Places Per Unit). In View Of The Foregoing, The Aim Is To Offer An Adequate And Quality Service For Early Childhood, In The Manner Specified In The Technical Specifications, From A Perspective Of Comprehensive Care For Minors Enrolled In School, Both In The Educational Aspects Corresponding To The Competencies Of This Level Of Training, As Well As In Their Feeding, Care And Cleaning, Thus Satisfying The Existing Demands In This Area, While At The Same Time Attempting To Contribute Both To The Improvement In The Education Of Boys And Girls From Zero To Three Years Old And To Facilitate And Support The Reconciliation Of Family And Social Life For Parents And/Or Guardians.
