Expression of Interest are invited for Egypt: Legal Due Diligence for Infrastructure Finance Guarantee Facility The World Bank Group (WBG) is advising the Government of Egypt (GOE) on the feasibility of an Infrastructure Guarantee Facility (Infrastructure Finance Guarantee Facility -IFGF). This IFGF initiative seeks to develop a private credit guarantor that could, by de-risking infrastructure projects, mobilize additional private capital -- initially in local currency -- via long-term financing. The World Bank is seeking the services of a law firm to conduct a due diligence on the options of legal entities that could be used for the IFGF in the Egyptian context. This due diligence will inform the ongoing policy dialogue the World Bank is having with the Government of Egypt on the IFGF.
