Quotation are invited for Flutter and Spring Boot Program Coordinator Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gazas first and only innovation hub and start-up accelerator, run by Mercy Corps (MC), a non-profit international relief and development organisation with programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. Mercy Corps founded GSG in partnership with Google.org in 2011 with an aim to transform Gazas most talented youth into the Middle Easts technology business leaders and to realise Gazas potential as a start-up hub. In addition to running tech ecosystems and outreach events, the GSG co-working hub, incubation and acceleration programs, beginning in 2017 GSG will be launching two new programming verticals under our brand. Training Program This training is tailored towards students of different interests: · Students who wish to learn backend development using Spring Boot · Students who wish to learn mobile development using Flutter in addition to UI/UX best practices During the program, students will get to use Claude as an AI tool, and they will get exposed to DevOps tools. Training Objectives · Introduce students to software development tools such as Spring Boot, Flutter, as well as DevOps tools for project development and deployment, and Claude for AI usage. · Simulate a workplace environment to provide insight into daily professional workflows and responsibilities. · Encourage students to work on team-based projects to strengthen their communication and teamwork skills. Scope of Work As a coordinator youll be requested to deliver 500 hours, starting from Jun 2026 and ending in Sep 2026. The coordinator will perform the following tasks: · Interviews: The coordinator will ensure interviews are conducted with registrants and select the most suitable ones for the program. · Onboarding: The coordinator will ensure the participants get onboarded to the companys workflow so they can start contributing to the codebase. · Weekly Standup Meeting: The coordinator will ensure standup meetings are held regularly with the teams (participants) to track the progress and address delays. · Sync with GSG Focal Points: The coordinator should participate in brief (10-15 minutes) sync meetings on demand to review progress, resolve any issues, and ensure the training is proceeding smoothly. · Code Review: The coordinator will ensure participants follow best practices when writing code by having their code reviewed regularly. · UI/UX Review: The coordinator will ensure participants follow best practices when designing the user interface (UI) and provide a very good user experience (UX). · Technical Support: The coordinator will help students with any technical issues or difficulties they encounter in the different topics provided throughout the training, whether through impromptu meetings, pre-arranged meetings, 1:1 sessions, and whether that occurs on-site or online. · Administration Support: The coordinator will provide support in logistics, e.g., in the preparation of the graduation ceremony or even in the inaugural ceremony, and in structuring the internship. · Collect Attendance: The coordinator is expected to fill an attendance sheet of the students and regularly keep it up-to-date.
