The product shall be designed to remove the stubbornness dirt, grease, grime and oil deposits. The product shall be from a recognized and established manufacturer and be suitable for use in a municipal wash bay application catering for the cleaning of automotive machinery components. Tenderers shall arrange for a sample of their product which shall be thoroughly tested on a wide range of machines and if found unsatisfactory by not meeting the criteria as laid down in paragraph 5 below, will not be considered. Products not adhering to the following will be considered non responsive: offers for a biodegradable product products suitable for use on vehicles and plant in use by the City of Cape Towns fleet a product performing well in terms of medical and operation considerations. # products which have OEM approval for vehicles and plant in use by the City of Cape Town.. If the Specifications require the supplier to provide samples/technical data sheets, these shall be provided strictly in accordance with the instructions set out in the Specification. If such samples /technical data sheets are not submitted as required in the bid documents or within any further time stipulated by the CCT in writing, then the bid concerned may be declared non-responsive.
