Sisä-Suomen Elinvoimakeskus Acquires The Maintenance Of The Roasting Slopes Located On Four Different Properties In The Vatulanharju-Ulvaanharju Natura 2000 Area, Ikaalis. The Total Area Of The Treated Roasting Slopes Is About 3.9 Ha. The Work Is Implemented With Funding From The Helmi Habitat Program. The Offer Must Include The Renovation Of All Sites. The Roasting Slopes To Be Renovated Are Located In The Vatulanharju-Ulvaanharju Natura 2000 Area, Which Is A Nationally Significant And Valuable Ridge Area. The Renovations Are Carried Out As Lumberjack Work And With A Small Forest Machine. Restoration Measures Include Thinning Of Trees, Clearing Of The Nursery, Removal Of The Municipality, And Collection And Stacking Of Logging Residues. The Areas Of The Roasted Slopes To Be Treated Are 1.16 Ha; 0.422Ha; 0.866 Ha And 1.42 Ha. The Last Two Sites Are Located On The Slope Of A Very Steep Ridge, Where Work Can Be Difficult And Laborious. The Implementation Of The Work Is Between 21 September And 30 November 2026. The Final Inspections For Completed Projects Will Be Held No Later Than The Last Week Of November. The Ridge Area Is A Class 1E Groundwater Area, Which Is Why Special Precision Must Be Used In The Treatment Works To Avoid Oil Damage. The Machines Used Must Always Be Equipped With First Aid Equipment For Oil Spills. Before Starting The Work, The Customer And The Contractor Draw Up A Safety Plan Together To Prevent Oil Damage And Combat Harm. The Contractor Must Prevent Harmful Alien Species From Being Transported To The Natura Area With The Machines Being Used. At The Moment, It Is Not Known That There Are Harmful Alien Species Present On The Properties In Question. The Vatulanharju-Ulvaanharju Natura Area Is Also A Busy Outdoor Area, Where People Moving In The Area Must Be Taken Into Account In Occupational Safety. If Possible Ancient Remains Are Discovered In The Area During The Planning Or Implementation Of The Project, Such As Trenches Or Mounds Estimated To Be More Than A Hundred Years Old, They Must Be Reported To The Pirkanmaa Provincial Museum Without Delay. Submitting A Bid Either Independently Or On-Site With An Expert At A Later Time Indicated In This Procurement Notice.
