Work Detail
The Municipality Of Amsterdam, The Amsterdam Transport Region, The Province Of North Holland And The Province Of Flevoland Are Preparing A Joint Tender In The Field Of Mobility As A Service (Maas). The Aim Is To Conclude A Multi-Year Framework Contract With One Service Provider. The Tender Does Not Focus On Purchasing A Completely Ready-Made Product, But Does Assume A Demonstrable Basic Service And A Concrete Starting Position In The Market. This Involves A Public-Private Partnership In Which Multiple Use Cases Are Realized. These Use Cases Are Directly Linked To Public Objectives, Including: • Less Car Use, Including In The Context Of Nuisance Measures And Sustainability Goals; •Better Accessibility For Vulnerable Target Groups; •More Effective Use Of Mobility Management; •Improvement Of The P+R Proposition. Similar Processes Have Previously Been Carried Out In Other Regions, Including Utrecht And Rotterdam. The Lessons From These Processes Are Taken Into Account. The Amsterdam Region Wants To Build On This And At The Same Time Take The Next Step, With More Emphasis On The Integration Of Behavioral Management And Maas Functionality, A More Solid Data Base And A Robust Management Environment For Policy Makers. .
