The Object Of The Assignment Is The Reconstruction And Automation Of The Inlet And Outlet Of The Bruges Canals. At The Moment, The Inlet And Outlet Of The Bruges Canals Form A Weak Spot In The Water Management Of The City Center Of Bruges. Today The Inlet On The Reien Is Manually Controlled With Bulkhead Beams. The Bulkhead Beams Function As A Weir, Two Bulkhead Beams Are Provided With A Support To Create A Gap. The Outlet Of The Reien (Leonardus Weir) Is Today Manually Regulated With Bulkhead Beams, Which Function As A Weir. The Height Of The Beams Of The Leonardus Weir Determines The Water Level In The City Center Of Bruges.
