The Fort Valley Utility Commission Is Seeking A Highly Qualified Company To Design And Build Approximately 4,000 Lf Of 20¿ Fusible Pvc Effluent Pipe Discharging From A New Wastewater Treatment Plant Using Open Cut And Jack & Bore Methods And Manholes. The Effluent Pipe Will Be Installed Approximately 6 Below Grade. Approximately 185 Lf Of The New Pipe Will Be Jack & Bored Under A Railroad Owned By Norfolk Southern. The Bored Pipe Will Be Encased Within A 30 Steel Casing Pipe And Will Be Bored Approximately 6 Below Normal Grade And 24 Below The Base Of The Rail. A 40 Launching Pit And A 15 Receiving Pit Will Be Dug To Perform The Jack & Bore.
