Tenders Are Invited For Periodic Checks And Repairs Of Portable Gas Detectors - Various Modifications, Air-Isolating Breathing Apparatus, Breathalyzers, Leak Detectors And Gas Protective Suits, Manufactured By The Dreger Company
The List Of Means Subject To Periodic Inspections Is Indicated In Appendix 1 - Technical Specification. Periodic Inspections Include: Carrying Out Technical Inspections/Checks And Calibration Of Protective Equipment And Devices. The Contracting Authority Sends By E-Mail An Agreed Schedule For The Acceptance Of Inspections Of Portable Gas Detectors, Alcohol Meters And Leak Detectors To The Contractor Within 3 (Three) Working Days From The Date Of Signing The Contract. The Contracting Authority Sends By E-Mail An Agreed Schedule For The Inspection Of Gas Protective Suits And Air-Isolating Breathing Apparatus To The Contractor For Each Quarter. The Emergency Filling Of The Bottles Of The Air-Isolating Breathing Apparatus Is Carried Out At The Request Of The Employer And Is At The Expense Of The Contractor. Steps For Carrying Out The Inspections And Deadlines: For Portable Gas Detectors, Leak Detectors And Breathalyzers: The Users Deliver The Devices With A Handover Protocol To The Contractor In The First Week Of The Month, According To A Previously Prepared Schedule, Through A Courier Company At The Contractors Expense; The Contractor Undertakes To Notify The Contracting Authority By E-Mail, In The Event That The Devices Are Not Provided By The Users Within The Specified Period; After Checking The Appliances, Within 7 Working Days, The Contractor Returns Them With A Handover Report On The Condition Of The Appliances, Which Also Describes The Parts To Be Replaced. For Air-Insulating Breathing Apparatus And Gas Protective Suits Inspections Are Carried Out By The Contractor According To A Previously Approved Schedule On Site At The Designated Locations; After The Inspection, The Contractor Delivers The Inspection Protocols To The Users, Except For Those That Require Repair.
