Expression of Interest for Distribution Network Impact Assessment for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure for Kathmandu The primary objective of this assignment is to assess the hosting capacity of the Kathmandu Valleys electricity distribution network to accommodate the projected increase in electricity demand from EV charging, and to identify the investments, technologies, and financing arrangements needed to support a safe, reliable, and low-carbon charging ecosystem. The specific objectives are to: Quantify the additional electricity demand arising from EV charging across the Kathmandu Valley under multiple EV uptake scenarios.
