Tenders are invited for ERS Testbed Architecture Definition Activity and Testbed Deployment and Evolution Activity The proposed procurement covers the definition, deployment, operation and evolution of a ERSEO Element 1 Testbed, a sovereign, scalable, secure, capacity-building digital environment enabling the deployment and extensive testing of diverse vertical, resilience-oriented applications and enabling tools (i.e. the Proof-of-Concepts , PoCs).The Testbed is a key enabling element of the Element 1 Proof-of-Concept component providing a common, high-performance deployment and testing environment to maximise synergies and efficiency across PoCs. While the PoCs themselves will be procured under specific procurement actions and are outside the scope of the present procurement, ESA will ensure an optimised allocation and sharing of responsibilities between the Testbed contractor and the PoCsdevelopers, in line with their respective competences and roles.Key activities covered by the Procurement are: (1) Testbed architecture definition, (2) Testbed deployment, operation and evolution, (3) PoCs deployment and testing, (4) Validation of the set-up under representative conditions, (5) Production and maintenance of architecture blueprint and reference artefacts to support PoCs portability, scalability and procurement de-risking.The procurement will be conducted through a single Invitation to Tender with the objective of maximising synergies between the testbed architecture definition and the subsequent deployment of the testbed. The ITT will lead to a phased procurement approach with a contractual breakpoint between Phase 1 and Phase 2. Read.
