Tenders Are Invited For The Mining Museum - Well Park And External Pipelines

The Norwegian Mining Museum Manages The National Cultural Heritage Kongsberg Sølvverk, Consisting Of A Total Of 13 Buildings In Hyttegata 1 And 3 In Kongsberg. Most Of The Buildings Are Protected Or Listed. Todays Heating Is Mainly Based On Electricity, With Electric Boilers And Bio-Oil Boilers As Backup In Some Buildings. This Results In High Electricity Consumption And Limitations In Heating Certain Audience Areas. The Projects Aim Is To Establish A More Flexible And Comprehensive Energy System, Adapted To The Listed Building Stock. The Solution Is Based On Geotermos Technology With Seasonal Storage Of Heat In Bedrock, Combined With Control Systems And Thermal Storage. The Measure Will Reduce The Use Of High-Quality Electricity, Relieve The Power Grid During Peak Load Periods And Contribute To A More Sustainable Energy Supply. The Project Is Carried Out In Existing And Partially Listed Buildings, Which Places Special Demands On Planning, Risk Assessment And Implementation. The Project Is Divided Into Two Turnkey Contracts And Announced In Separate Tenders: • Power Plant And Conversion To Water-Borne Heat • Well Park And External Piping This Tender Includes The Delivery Of Well Park And External Piping. The Work Affects The Existing Building Mass Only When Introducing Pipes To The Technical Room In The Production Building, Which Forms The Interface With The Contract For The Energy Center And Conversion To Water-Borne Heat.
