Thisrequest for Expression of Interest followsthe General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared on the Banks external website dated 17 March 2026. 2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA), has received Financing from the African Development Bank Group toward the cost of Project Preparation for 24 Villages in Ngerengere WaSH Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for Undertaking Feasibility Studies, Detailed Engineering Design and Tender Document Preparation for Water Supply (Source, Raising Main, Distribution Network, Treatment, Storage Tanks, Distribution/Water Point) and Sanitation and Environmental and Social Assessment Reports for 24 Villages (Kisemo, Pulambili, Sinyaulime, Kidugalo, Visaraka, Mlilingwa, Ngerengere, Magera, Seregte A, Lubumu, Seregete B, Diguzi, Kiwenge, Dete, Tununguo, Lulongwe, Matuli, Kwaba, Mkulazi, Kidunda, Usungura, Chanyumbu, Mgude, Kisanga) in Ngerengere in Morogoro District. 3. The Services included under this Project are: (a) Preparation of Feasibility Study, (b) Preparation of Detailed Engineering Design, (c) Preparation of ESIA and RAP and (d) Preparation of Tender Document. The estimated input time for the Consultancy Services is Twelve (12) Calendar Months. 4. The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) which is the Implementing Agency of this project now invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing the above Services. Interested consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Brochures, Description of Similar assignments, Experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. The following criteria shall be considered during evaluation process: - i. Firms general experience of at least ten (10) years, ii. Evidence of execution of at least three (3) similar assignments, iii. Evidence of experience in Sub Sahara Africa and similar conditions of the project area, 5. Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, October 2015, which is available on the Banks website at http://www.afdb.org. 6.
