Background And Purpose Of The Request For Informationpääkaupunkiseudun Junakalusto Oy (Hereinafter “Junakalusto Oy”) Is Preparing A Tendering Procedure For The Procurement Of Etcs And Ato Equipment For 81 Sm5 Train Units.Junakalusto Oy Is Gathering Information On Market Operators And The Solutions They Offer And, For This Purpose, Is Publishing This Request For Information. This Request For Information Is Not A Contract Notice Or An Invitation To Tender, But Has Been Published For The Purposes Of Market Research.The Publication Of This Request For Information Does Not Yet Initiate The Actual Tendering Procedure. The Contract Notice And The Invitation To Tender Will Be Published Separately At A Later Stage. The Request For Information Does Not Oblige The Contracting Entity To Carry Out The Procurement. Responding To The Request For Information Is Not A Precondition For Participating In Any Later Tendering Procedure, And No Compensation Will Be Paid For Responding To The Request For Information Or For Participating In The Market Dialogue.Junakalusto Oy Will, At Its Discretion, Make Use Of The Information Obtained Through The Market Dialogue Conducted By Means Of This Request For Information When Preparing The Procurement Documents. For The Sake Of Clarity, Junakalusto Oy States That Responding To This Request For Information Does Not Constitute Such Participation In The Preparation Of The Procurement That Would Prevent Participation In A Subsequent Tendering Procedure (Section 70 Of The Act On Public Procurement In The Water, Energy, Transport And Postal Services Sectors).Operators Interested In The Procurement Are Requested To Respond To This Request For Information And To Participate In Supplier-Specific Market Dialogues As Described In More Detail Below In Section Additional Information About The Procurement Or Part.
